Award-winning children’s book illustrator Derek Roberts is back at Starkey Ranch for a special Halloween painting adventure!

Boats & Floats – Starkey Ranch Annual Boat Race

ALL HANDS ON DECK! The most epic nautical showdown of the year is here! Gather your crew and prepare for battle on the high seas (aka Whitfield Park Pool) as we crown this year’s champion boat builders!

THE CHALLENGE: Armed with mystery supplies and your wildest imagination, you’ll have limited time to engineer the ultimate floating fortress. Will your vessel conquer the treacherous pool currents, or will it meet a watery grave? Only the bravest sailors will survive!

THE GLORY: Watch your masterpiece slice through the waves as crowds cheer! Victory tastes even sweeter when celebrated with our legendary ice cream floats – the perfect reward for conquering the seven seas (or at least one pool)!

The 2025 Starkey Ranch Community Garage Sale is scheduled for Saturday, October 11, 2025 from 8:00 a.m. until 2:00 p.m. 

The Starkey Ranch Community Garage Sale spans the entire Starkey Ranch Community and is  the premier garage sale event in the Odessa and Trinity Community. Last year a significant number of homes participated in this event and we had quite the turnout from our residents and neighboring communities looking for a bargain.

The Starkey Ranch Fun Crew is not yet accepting listings quite yet but we will update everyone when they do.

How It Works

To participate in Gift Card Bingo, each person is required to bring a gift card. The value of your gift card determines how many bingo boards you’ll receive, giving you more chances to win! Here’s how the board distribution works:

  • $5 gift card = 1 board
  • $10 gift card = 2 boards
  • $15 gift card = 3 boards
  • $20 gift card = 4 boards
  • $25 gift card = 5 boards

Remember: more bingo boards mean more chances to win!

What to Expect

We’ll provide all the fun and entertainment for the evening, but guests are welcome to bring drinks of their choosing to enjoy during the games. Come ready for an evening of laughter, friendly competition, and the thrill of potentially winning some fantastic prizes!
